Northrop Grumman is in need of a Maintenance Technician 3 to work at its Ronkonkoma, New York facility.  The Ronkonkoma facility supports the Propulsion Systems & Controls (PS&C) business unit of Defense Systems.

Job duties

Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.

• Maintain facility support equipment (Shed)
  • Compressor 1
  • Compressor 2
  • Compressor 3
  • Compressor 4
  • Duplex
  • Triplex
  • N2 Generator
• Maintain facility support systems
  • Replacing valves/components as needed as a result of system inspections or other finding
• Support capital upgrade projects involving plumbing electrical changes/additions to new and/or existing facility systems
  • Support electrical efforts as well as needed
• Maintain inventory and request orders as needed for critical spare components for facility equipment and facility systems
• Maintaining components in an organized storage system
• Support facility vehicle maintenance from an electrical stand point as needed

Basic Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have at least 4 years of a combination of experience and/or further education
• Must be a US citizen

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
