Job Summary

Comcast Spectacor is seeking a Legal Intern. The program is for current law students with an interest in sports, entertainment, and/or gaming law.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

During the program, interns may be responsible for:

• Preparing initial drafts of letters, notices, and other short-form legal documents 
• Analyzing commercial agreements and creating summaries of key terms
• Conducting research projects on various legal issues and preparing memos 
• Attending meetings between the Legal department and internal clients
• Attending calls with outside counsel on legal issues
• Other legal and compliance-related tasks as necessary 

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be currently enrolled in (or entering) their second or third year of law school.
• Candidates must be willing to work on-site (our offices are located at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA).
• A demonstrable interest or background in one of the following legal practice areas is strongly preferred but not required: sports and/or entertainment law, transactional/corporate practice, intellectual property, data privacy, labor law, real estate law, or risk management and insurance.
• Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong legal practice skills, including effective legal research, drafting, and communication.
