Job Description
A candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant Bachelor's, Specialist's, Technical, Master's or PhD degree from a relevant academic institute. A Student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree or work as a Generalist in a specific department. The Studentship is limited in time with the intent to hire into a College Graduate/Technical Graduate position as appropriate.
Your responsibilities will be diverse due to the technical nature of the job, including working as a team member in designing, developing, testing, deploying test automation frameworks for various IT teams to use.
Job assignment is expected to be minimum of 22 hours per week for the duration of the internship.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems.
At least 6 months of experience with writing and implementing manual and automated tests at the unit, system, integration, and/or regression level
- Experience coding with JavaScript
- Working knowledge of software testing best practices
- Strong understanding of software development best practices for the full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, CI/CD, and operations.
Advanced English level
Costa Rican unrestricted work permit.
