Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our innovative technology startup on a project-based contract. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

  • Technical Expertise: Apply engineering principles and techniques to design, develop, and implement solutions for project requirements.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, designers, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth execution.

  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure safety protocols are followed.

  • Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections and quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle to maintain high standards of workmanship.

  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates to track milestones and communicate project status.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering project management or a related role.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, CAD software, and other relevant engineering tools.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and team members effectively.

  • Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor team members to ensure project goals are met successfully.

  • Adaptability: Flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
