Overview

An Invoice Analyst is tasked to complete a variety of operational tasks and work on projects simultaneously. The position provides operational support for Chevron companies in North America, Asia, Australia, and Europe and in all streams. The Analyst will have opportunities to interact with business unit customers and SCM managers, suppliers, warehouse personnel, freight forwarders, and other functional groups like Finance and IT.

Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Invoice Processing Analyst (SMART1) throughJuly 26 at 11:59 p.m. PH Time.

Duties and responsibilities

1) Process invoices in Smart-GEP in compliance with Chevron policies and procedures

  • Downloads reports and generates list of invoices
  • Prioritizes invoices based established guidelines.
  • Performs the required compliance review process based on
  • Review invoice accuracy against supporting documents, review service work dates, review bill-to information, review currency, review cost object and cost element, review invoice amount (per line item) check for corresponding supporting documents, checks for Field Representative approval, review Tax ID number

2) Updates tracker and other related documents

3) Coordinates resolution of issues with customers and vendors and manage process exceptions

4) Identifies and adopts best practices and ensures that process improvements are consistently applied in all activities.

5) Provides metrics, analysis and other ad-hoc reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance Management, Accountancy, or any business course
  • Demonstrate excellent planning, business, analytical, and communication skills
  • Must have relevant experience in Finance / Supply Chain function
  • Must be open to learning and exploring a variety of Finance/Supply Chain business areas

Preferred Qualifications: 

Diploma/Certificate and knowledge in Accountancy/Finance/Supply Chain Management would be an advantage

Knowledge in ERP tools such as SAP/JDE/Ariba/Smart GEP would be an advantage
