Cardinal Health WaveMark in Lebanon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analytics Tester to join our dynamic team. As a key player, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Looker-based dashboards and reports with a focus on leveraging Big Query for data storage.

Your primary role will involve not only testing the functionality of these dashboard but also meticulously validating the data integrity within BigQuery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies for Looker dashboards and reports, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance.
• Validate the data displayed in these dashboards against the source data in Big Query
• Write and optimize complex queries to validate the integrity of data stored in BigQuery, ensuring alignment with business requirements and data model specifications.
• Implement and maintain automated testing processes to streamline the testing lifecycle and enhance efficiency.
• Work closely with Business Intelligence developers, Data Engineers, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve issues promptly.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases and testing documentation to support testing process and facilitate knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Proven experience (3+ years) in software development as a software tester, data analyst, data engineer, or Analytics developer preferrable on looker-based dashboards and reports.
• Experience with data validation using complex SQL queries.
• Experience with BI and ETL automation tool is a plus.
• Experience in BigQuery, and/or Airflow is a plus.
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and identify discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies in the Business Intelligence and data analytics space.
