Franchise leadership of M&P channel management providing the bottler with thought leadership, best practices, tools, and capability support
Lead shopper and core channel strategy in Korea by co-working with insights team, OU shopper team, and channel leaders and engaging bottler to drive in-store strategy for topline growth
Job Description
Identify channel and shopper opportunities in M&P channel. Convert these opportunities and insights to the channel strategy and execution plans. Closely working with the bottler to align, pilot, roll-out and enhance key priority initiatives. Influence bottler to build sales capability to drive both top-line and bottom-line growth.
For priority channels identified, lead to develop shopper insights and marketing tools.
What You’ll Do for Us
Monitoring and tracking overall M&P business performance and providing regular update as well as recommendation on course-correction programs
Providing thought leadership to ensure our competitiveness within the market through understanding channel/shopper trends and competitors' offerings (including prices)
Sharing global best practices with bottler to drive quality execution
Identifying new business opportunities within a channel that could increase revenue
Developing channel strategy & plan and aligning with bottler for successful implementation
Providing global best practices, competitive intelligences, category & shopper insights, and marketing tools to the system.
Converting channel strategy into execution KPI to deliver the business objectives and influence to set up and monitor execution KPIs, closely working with execution excellence team and bottler partner
Developing Shopper insights and marketing strategy for key focus channels
Qualifications & Requirements
Functional Skills
Analytic capability: Need to analyze new and existing data (consumer, shoppers, channels and customers data, shipment data, Syndicated data…) and provide interpretation/implication. Triangulate different sources of data to come up with clear shopper and commercial propositions
Customer management knowledge & understanding of working with bottler and what drives their engagement
Solid understanding of category strategies and major goals for the channel and customer
Strong ability to build the storytelling from the insights & data
Problem solving skills
Decide on how best to build long term shopper marketing capabilities for KO and bottler
Develop fact-based arguments/analysis to inspire bottling systems to see the shoppers/occasions/retail opportunities available
Other skills and knowledge
A Channel Manage is well encouraged, possesses leadership skills and suggests ideas to achieve profitable growth. They promote teamwork and camaraderie amongst staff. They are able to communicate well and document reports. They possess good interpersonal relationship towards co-worker.
+10 years of working experience in trade marketing, key account management or shopper marketing in FMCGs or Hyper/Super chain Retailers
Korean: Native level are required, effectively interact with bottling partner, and customers
English: Business fluent, develop business reports and facilitate conversations with stakeholder
