Master’s degree in Human Services field
Candidates with a Master’s of Social Work must have an (LCSW/LPC) or be working towards Licensure
Candidates must have submitted a plan to obtain licensure at the soonest date possible within a maximum allowed of Two Years
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to be both clear and concise in written and verbal communications
Demonstrates solid knowledge of psychiatric/addiction diagnoses and understanding of their impact on behavior and all life domains
Willingness and ability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary team
Ability to interpret and apply complex directives, information, and regulations
Crisis intervention skills
The clinician performs a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices in person 2 days a week and via telehealth 3 days a week.
This position manages a caseload of clients identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative, and case management needs, engaging other team members in meeting these needs as indicated
Completes biopsychosocial/ Psych evaluation and develops diagnostic summary; prepares and monitors clinical treatment plan in collaboration with patient/family and treatment team at intervals determined by guidelines
Provides consultation for primary care patients to assess for mental health and substance use disorders and link to appropriate services and resources in an integrated model.
Interprets and applies service and billing procedures according to client needs; completes billing according to guidelines for timeliness and accuracy
Meets agency standards of timely completion of all documentation
