Who We’re Looking For
Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Technology team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as a Network Security Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security measures to protect our organization's infrastructure from cyber threats. This role requires strong technical expertise in network security, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop and implement network security policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the design and implementation of network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), virtual private networks (VPNs), and access control mechanisms.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate security controls into network architecture and infrastructure design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to network security engineers and analysts.
- Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry trends related to network security.
- Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network security architecture, configurations, and processes.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the effectiveness of network security measures.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience in network security, with a focus on designing and implementing security controls in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, architecture, and infrastructure components.
- Proficiency in using network security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDPS, VPNs, and SIEM solutions.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSK, CCNP Security, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex network security issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud security, containerization, and microservices architecture is a plus.
