Job Description
- Definition and execution of a commercial strategy for fleet sales in assigned distributors.
- Promote focus and structure for fleet sales in assigned distributors for medium to large distributors, ensuring a competent structure for achieving objectives is essential.
- Identify potential clients with distributors in the influence zone, ensuring knowledge of clients’ fleets (number of units, types of units, repurchase periods, growth opportunities, etc.).
- Continuously prospect fleet clients, both new and existing, and build long-term relationships.
- Provide support to distributors during negotiations with clients.
- Visit all distributors according to a volume-focused plan, ensuring 100% coverage.
- Foster a healthy relationship with the retail sales team, ensuring teamwork and goal achievement.
- Promote positive relationships with high-value distributors, emphasizing teamwork, goal attainment, and long-term partnerships.
- Prepare quotes for fleet clients based on client and operational characteristics (purchase volume, historical purchases, potential, competition, inventory levels, etc.), including requests for special pricing through business cases.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of fleet inventory to assigned distributors based on negotiated conditions (floor plan).
- Monitor sales and create forecasts for both retail and wholesale sales closures.
- Collect monthly production needs for fleet sales or inventory replenishment.
- Participate in meetings to consolidate fleet production volume.
- Prepare competitive comparisons when required.
- Set monthly fleet sales objectives for distributors based on pending negotiations and sales potential, in synergy with the retail sales manager.
- Provide support to global clients by completing RFQs or submitting proposals for corporate client tenders (e.g., DHL, PepsiCo, Novartis, etc.).
- Attend monthly sales meetings.
- Participate in negotiating annual Volume and Market Share Guidelines with each distributor based on FoM’s business plan
