Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron’s practices.

Fixed Assets and WIP Accounting (various Upstream BUs)

• AFE Creation and Maintenance
• Asset Creation and Maintenance
• Computation and Analysis of Depreciation
• Posting and monthly Depreciation (UOP & Straight Line)

Accounts Reconciliation

• Performs accounts reconciliation of related accounts
• Perform Trace & Escalation procedure for reconciling items

General Administrative Tasks

• Maintain updated process documentation
• Performs roles and responsibilities for assigned coordination role
• Attend meetings
• Participate in professional development activities (e.g. training, reading professional materials, attending seminars, participating in self study courses, interacting with industry counter parts, etc.).
• Participate in special projects.
• Provide assistance and discussions with colleagues or direct reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
• Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment.
• Enjoys working with people of diverse cultural backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP
• Experience in JDE
• General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process exposure preferred.
