DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Accountant 1 in the General Accounting and Defined Contribution Plans Division (GADCP) of the SERS Office of Financial Management reports directly to the Accountant 3 for the SERS Defined Contribution Plan. This position maintains general ledgers; processes employer contributions, participant contributions, and benefit payments; processes and reconciles financial data; and collaborates with the third-party administrator and other internal and external parties on a daily basis.
