YOUR TASKS: As an ACCOUNTANT

(M/F/D) you are the contact person for a wide range of financial issues, particularly in the area of ​​accounting under German commercial law (HGB) and in managing our pension fund.

• You support the preparation of the annual financial statements under commercial law for all companies based in Germany and Austria

• You support the audit of the annual financial statements by our auditors

• You work with the tax department and support both balance sheet tax processes and tax audits.

• You coordinate and support cross-departmental processes in connection with commercial law requirements (e.g. fixed assets).

• You are a competent contact person for the local marketing and sales departments when introducing new commercial processes with regard to financial requirements and their implementation.

• You look after our group-internal pension fund (CTA) and support the board in a variety of tasks such as cooperation with the capital management company, the asset managers and the central pensions department of PMI

• You work very closely with our Shared Service Center (IBS) on many topics at an international level. • You work on local and international financial projects.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

• A successfully completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting (HGB, US GAAP or IFRS), corporate finance or corporate treasury

• Ideally a professional exam (accountant (CPA), chartered financial analyst (CFA))

• At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, ideally in an international industrial company or in an auditing firm • Very good knowledge of commercial accounting regulations

• Strong analytical understanding and a high affinity for numbers and systems

• Very high ability to work in a team and strong communication skills

• Independent, structured and proactive way of working as well as holistic thinking

• High degree of self-motivation

• Confident use of MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally knowledge of SAP/R3
