Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for leading the agency relationship with several clients, and is responsible for building and managing teams, effectively executing campaign development and management, and driving the overall business analysis.

You will report to our VP, Client Engagement.

Responsibilities:
 

  • You will mine data, provide insights, and offer recommendations (to Supervisor/Director) on business-oriented challenges/opportunities
  • You can demonstrate understanding of client’s business/competitive marketplace
    • i.e. can effectively anticipate questions, show broader business implications, and addresses or pushes back on questions/inquiries
  • You will manage the development and delivery of a variety of client deliverables ranging from campaign reports to status documents
    • Providing strategic commercial solutions that balance client and agency values
    • Build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients
    • Operate as client’s daily contact on project status & requests, while coordinating cross-department and in some cases, cross-agency
    • You work closely with cross-functional teams (media, mar-sci, creative, etc.) to manage client’s daily needs
    • You will work collaboratively to translate strategic vision into tactical solutions and results
    • Immerses self in clients' business: understanding their challenges, objectives, external economic environment, and industries; also knows their business model, how it is performing, and what success looks like
    • Accountable for the operational success of outcomes to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
    • You'll work directly with ADs/AADs to monitor account revenue growth and take accountability for accurate billing and forecasting to ensure the financial health of accounts
    • Lead preparation for and participate in quarterly business review meetings and other client meetings (including new business pitches)
       
  • Qualifications

    You have:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Advertising, Marketing, or similar industry
  • Ability to nurture and retain client and employee relationships
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with financial data and budgets
  • Experience researching complex issues and to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs, and recommendations to solve client challenges
  • Strong technical understanding of digital performance marketing
    • i.e. Bought, Owned and Earned products and services such as Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Management and Display Marketing

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $51,000 - $83,375.00

Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
