We believe that the world’s decisions can be made by markets. To make that a reality, we’re building the world’s first platform for creating and trading decision markets. It’s like Polymarket but for decision markets.

Why MetaDAO?

Solve interesting problems: currently, we’re working on how grants decisions can be made with markets. We need to evaluate problems like ‘how can we create financial contracts that pay out relative to grant effectiveness?’ and ‘could we automatically halt grant payments based on market prices?’ Noone has built market-governed grants programs before, so this is a greenfield for creative problem-solving.
Have a big impact: replacing managers with markets is a radical change. If we’re successful, you would have been a part of that.
Work in a growing industry: we believe that due to their global, 24/7, cheap, and transparent nature, public blockchains like Solana are the future of the financial system. You have the opportunity to work in a growing part of a growing industry.

Why NOT MetaDAO?

The path is unpaved: there is no playbook for building a successful decision market platform. We rapidly iterate our own understanding of how best to grow the platform, and we expect any contributors to be able to do the same.
This is our lives: we love what we do and often don’t see it as work. If work-life balance is something you care a lot about, this is probably not for you.
