Sales Enablement Content & Platform Manager – Walmart Connect (Manager, Marketing Planning And Strategy)

We connect billions of shopping behaviors to real transactions (both online and in-store), and help marketers truly understand how their marketing drives results.
The Walmart Connect Brand and Enterprise Sales Marketing, Content Management team is looking for a Sr. Sales Enablement Content and Platform Manager to help drive projects forward, help maintain a content library (single source of truth for approved sales marketing materials), support organizing and authoring a vast catalogue of content for maximum discoverability within a CMS and providing analysis on feedback from XFNs and metrics within the CMS. This position will include XFN collaboration, writing, authoring, communication and project management.

The ideal candidate has experience running knowledge/content management systems to enable sales teams to use and share their materials for pitches.

 

Position Description 
This role will support a critical service for Walmart Connect and will make contributions to our goal to drive must-buy status amongst all our key target audiences through enabling a system where our most important marketing and educational content is always up to date, easily accessible internally for all to leverage.

 

Responsibilities include:  

Supporting the management of content and collaborating with content owners: 

  • Help to maintain the single source of truth inventory of approved Walmart Connect sales marketing content.
  • Support organizing and authoring a vast catalogue of content for maximum discoverability within the CMS and managing content inventory hygiene– calendarizing update reminders, and content sunset dates for content owners.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants.
  • Provide analysis on feedback from XFNs and metrics within the CMS.

 

Supporting the management of the content delivery and storage systems:

  • In the near-term, support optimization of internal content management hub “Blue” for better discoverability and internal sales team experience as a quick fix.
  • In the mid-term, support exploring through a formal RFP process an outside tech solution for a more modern sales enablement content management tool.  This includes stakeholder interviews, requirements documentation, collaboration with procurement on a vendor RFP, budgeting, POV presentation to leadership.
  • Own Blue technical aspects to help support admin and authoring needs and own new CMS technical aspects, admin and authoring needs once implemented.
  • Ad hoc project management and operational projects assigned by Senior Manager & Senior Director.

 

 Requirements 

  • 4+ years of business experience, marketing and writing experience preferred
  • Passion for building organization out of chaos
  • Experience in CMS systems for sales organizations, Salesforce experience required
  • Strong communication skills to drive alignment with cross-functional teams around a goal
