Job Description:

As a Remote Data Encoder, you will be responsible for entering and updating data in our company database. You will work closely with our data team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data. This role requires someone with a keen eye for detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, and who can work under minimal supervision.

You will be handling sensitive or confidential data, so maintaining the highest degree of ethical standards is crucial. Your role is fundamental in ensuring smooth operations in our company and aiding decision-making processes. Your input will be valuable as you’ll provide an accurate, updated, and accessible database for our team.

 

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a data encoder or in a similar role.

2. Proficient in MS Office (Excel) with a good typing speed.

3. Exceptional attention to detail.

4. Ability to work under tight deadlines.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

6. Knowledge of touch typing systems is a significant plus.

7. High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Accurately and efficiently encode all data that needs organizing and recording.

2. Confirm that entered data accurately aligns with original documentation.

3. Organize and maintain original paper evidence.

4. Assist in developing and maintaining improved records within the database system.

5. Produce reports.

6. File appropriately as necessary.

7. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

 

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of a High School diploma, although an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

2. Prior experience as a Data Encoder or related position.
