Hulu is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Remote Customer Support Representative to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our customer service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to our diverse customer base. This role requires excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for helping others. You will be working remotely, providing assistance via phone, email, and chat to ensure a seamless viewing experience for Hulu subscribers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer support by addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and resolving complaints related to Hulus streaming service.
  • Assist customers with account management tasks, including subscription changes, billing inquiries, and password resets.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to streaming devices, app functionality, and connectivity problems.
  • Guide customers through troubleshooting steps, and escalate complex issues to specialized teams when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in our CRM system.
  • Stay up-to-date with Hulus products, features, and policies to offer accurate and relevant assistance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on recurring issues and suggesting enhancements to support processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including CRM software and other support tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically under pressure.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or support role is preferred, especially in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with streaming services and technology is advantageous but not required.

Working Hours:

  • This is a full-time remote position with varying shifts to cover our 24/7 support operation. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

  • In-depth knowledge of Hulus platform, products, and services.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies.
