About the role

In the role of Social Media Community Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager, Global Social Media Strategy.

We are considering applicants for the location(s) of Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Remote.

 

The Social Media Community Manager will help to foster a fun and welcoming community within the Crunchyroll social media ecosystem, including Discord, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter/X. This includes developing community engagement plans connected to Audience Development goals and engaging with both replies to Crunchyroll content and fan-posted content about Crunchyroll or our streaming series on the Crunchyroll platform. You will maintain brand standards through an authentic voice and meet expectations of licensors via all public-facing communications.

 

Core Areas of Responsibility

  • Promote positive fan engagement within the Crunchyroll social media ecosystem by creating frequent community engagement campaigns
  • Moderate and oversee activities on the official Crunchyroll Discord server including a team of moderators to encourage the right tone and ensure all community posts and comments follow guidelines

 

  • Respond to commonly asked questions with answers and relay information that adhere to Crunchyroll standards
  • Support refining community management policies including banned terms, anti-bullying measures, and Discord community procedures
  • Identify community trends and improvements to appropriate teams
  • Share weekly sentiment reports on important topics that are being discussed by the Crunchyroll community

 

About You

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in digital community management at a global corporate brands
  • You have experience spearheading and building out community management strategies for global corporate brands
  • You have experience moderating Discord communities
  • You possess the ability to conceptualize and implement engagement campaigns for digital communities
