Publix Super Markets is looking for a dedicated and driven individual to join our team as a Live Chat Officer. This is a part-time remote position, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while delivering exemplary customer service to our online shoppers. As a Live Chat Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance, and your role will be pivotal in ensuring their satisfaction throughout their shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Actively respond to customer inquiries via live chat, providing timely and accurate information regarding products, services, and policies.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints with empathy and efficiency, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about Publix Super Markets’ products and promotions to effectively assist customers and enhance their shopping experience.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and any issues raised during chat sessions for further analysis and enhancement of services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to escalate unresolved issues and share insights that could help improve customer service processes.
  • Performance Evaluation: Participate in regular performance assessments and engage in continuous training to enhance your skills and contribute to the team’s overall performance.
  • Feedback Collection: Actively solicit feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement and better understand customer needs.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to changing priorities and workload while maintaining high standards of service.

Requirements

Education & Experience:*

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Resourcefulness: Ability to troubleshoot customer problems and find effective solutions promptly.
  • Drive: Demonstrated motivation to achieve goals and meet performance benchmarks.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity and understanding for all customers.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using live chat software and various digital communication tools.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and online shopping platforms.
