Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced copy editor and proofreader to join our team on an ongoing basis, focusing on Clean & Wholesome Romance lead magnets and novels. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) and have strong attention to detail, ensuring our stories are polished and error-free.
Responsibilities:
Perform copy editing and proofreading on Clean & Wholesome Romance stories.
Edits will be made in Word using track changes, adhering to the Chicago Manual of Style.
Occasionally, quick turnaround may be required for various projects.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience with the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS).
Strong communication skills and the ability to respond promptly to editing requests.
Reliable, professional, and able to meet deadlines, even on short notice.
A passion for reading and editing romance novels is a plus.
Compensation:
Our rate is $0.003/word for copy editing and proofreading. We offer consistent, reliable work.
