Data Entry Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Data Entry Specialist to support our operations by accurately entering invoice data and managing cost and retail adjustments.

 

This role is key to maintaining the precision and integrity of our financial and inventory records.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input invoice data into our internal systems, ensuring timely and error-free entry.
  • Regularly review and adjust cost and retail prices for wine and spirits products, in line with market trends and internal strategies.
  • Collaborate with the consulting team to understand pricing adjustments and implement them effectively.
  • Use Excel and other data management tools to organize and analyze financial and inventory data.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all data and comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with the finance and retail teams to resolve discrepancies in invoices and pricing.
  • Generate reports and provide insights on inventory and pricing trends.
  • Contribute to the development of efficient data management practices.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a retail or finance setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other data management tools.
  • Understanding of wine and spirits retail sector is advantageous.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High school diploma required; further education in Business, Finance, or related field is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $3.00 per hour
