Manager, Global Social Media

Crocs is looking for a Manager in global Social Media. This individual will be responsible for the execution of the Go To Market (GTM) social media strategy that will support the strategic brand objectives. The new Manager will drive social media growth and engagement improvements to targeted consumers to improve brand desirability and connectivity; showcase key products and rapidly growing product relevancy; and cultivate turning social media followers into customers.

 

In this role, you will collaborate on the development of an engaging social media plan that features innovative, creative and high-quality brand-right content while running the social media fan community to drive conversation, connection and engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Effective development and management of global and scalable organic social media strategy for local activation.
  • Development of a comprehensive social media plan and calendar that reaches target consumers and achieves strategic brand objectives with supporting high quality brand, product and sales quality content that cultivates social consumer growth and engagement; improved brand desirability and connection; improved product consideration and relevancy; and conversion of follower to customer.
  • Establishes goals and guides business processes and systems.
  • Produces organic social media activation guides for local markets that supports cohesive strategic brand objectives and position and leverages shareable content and programs, while providing flexibility for local markets to build locally tailored social activations.
  • Working with internal and external partners to build, curate and drive the publishing of relevant, original and high-quality content that can be maximized across social and other digital platforms.

 

  • Ability to work with external media, advertising and PR agencies to integrate strategies into social media.
  • Continual measurement and analysis of social media effectiveness including value to guide delivery of actionable optimization recommendations to improve performance and drive growth.
  • Actively listens and integrates with cross-functional and local team members, and consumer data needs to ensure alignment and enhance the potential of provided deliverables.
  • Collaborates with marketing, operations and creative teams to ensure processes align with key production and activation achievements to improve communications.
  • Is responsible for understanding trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. Identifies threats and opportunities in social media and amongst key competitors.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Table

  • BS or BA degree in business marketing or related field (MBA or similar degree highly desired) with a minimum of 5+ years of digital and social marketing experience or equivalent, preferably in global consumer products.
  • Showed ability to lead others within a team for 3 or more years.
  • Strong project management organizational skills, project planning abilities, timeline management prowess, results orientation, and (of course) phenomenal communication skills.
