What To Expect:

This Role Is For An Accounting Analyst In The Financial Operations Team Supporting Commercial Energy. This Role Will Primarily Focus On Ar Invoicing/Invoicing And Cash Accounting Responsibilities. Cash Accounting Duties Will Include Cash Application, Bank/Trade Account Reconciliation, Account Analysis/Metrics, And Customer Contact For Accounts Receivable Payment Related Questions. We Are Looking For A Candidate With Strong Experience Performing Data-Intensive Account Reconciliations. Candidate Must Be Very Good At Using Excel To Quickly Organize And Analyze Data. Experience With Reporting Platforms Such As Power Bi And Using Power Query And Sql To Organize/Query Data Is A Plus. Leveraging Technology And Improving Processes Will Be A Critical Success Factor In Expanding Our Accounting Work As Tesla Continues To Grow. What Should You Do?

  • Ensure Timely And Accurate Recording Of Financial Transactions In Accordance With Gaap And Company Policy.

  • Collaborate And Work Closely With Key Contacts In Other Departments (Eg Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue) To Resolve Reconciliation Discrepancies And Unrecorded Transactions.
  • Assist With Projects And Initiatives To Continuously Improve Efficiency And Accounting Processes At Scale.

  • Bachelor’s Or Master’s Degree With Accounting Emphasis Or Equivalent Education And Experience In Accounting Or Finance.
